Live Life Better

be in flow
Every moment presents an opportunity to start anew... to connect to something greater and be in flow. In coaching, we go deeper, past the habits and emotional triggers to the questions we often avoid. I help clients tap into wisdom, unearth the motivations that drive them, and shine a light on the beliefs that quietly limit them. Together, we work to break free from those internal barriers, creating an authentic, powerful, and fully lived life.

From External to internal transformation: Beauty is more than skin deep
After over 30 years as an aesthetic oculofacial plastic surgeon, I realized that lasting transformation comes from within. While I helped patients achieve natural, authentic results, many were increasingly chasing unattainable ideals—struggling with aging, self-acceptance, or trying to look like someone else. I realized many clients were seeking external solutions for internal struggles. My advice has always been clear: strive to become the best version of yourself, rather than a lesser version of someone else.
Watching them struggle to find lasting joy by external means inspired and challenged me to shift my career from aesthetics to life coaching... to shift my focus from outer to inner beauty. I now focus on guiding clients towards joy and deeper purpose with an intention for authenticity. Together, we explore their true desires, identify limiting beliefs, and transform old habits and beliefs, to create lasting change. I focus on emotional wellness, physical health, spirituality, creativity, communication, and reigniting a sense of fun. I aim to empower my clients to live authentically, love themselves, and thrive.
My Journey:
As the son of 2 physicians, I always knew I wanted to help others and majored in psychology at Brandeis University. In 1987, I graduated from New York University's Grossman School of Medicine after developing a passion for eye and vision care. This led me to become Chief Resident in Ophthalmology at NYU Langone Health. After my American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) fellowship at the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital, I co-founded Chelsea Eye and Cosmetic Surgery Associates in 1993. Our practice quickly became a leader in refractive surgery and aesthetic treatments such as facial fillers, Botox, and laser therapies. During the AIDS crisis, I worked with patients suffering from facial lipoatrophy, a stigmatizing side effect of antiviral drugs. Collaborating with pharmaceutical companies, I helped develop innovative injection techniques and protocols for FDA-approved treatments like Sculptra and Radiesse, restoring the confidence of many individuals.
While creative and challenging, my true joy came from the transformative impact I made on my patients' lives, allowing them to overcome the shame of AIDS and return to society.
As aesthetic procedures became mainstream, I noticed that many clients sought external changes to address deeper emotional or psychological issues. My message to them was always clear: focus on becoming the best version of yourself, rather than striving to look or be, like someone else.
My Approach: The pandemic marked a turning point in my career and life. After losing the lease for my Manhattan aesthetic medical practice, I faced profound burnout and began to find aesthetic medicine unfulfilling. It took that breakdown, for me to make a breakthrough and learn to help others more authentically, through life coaching; this is how I regained my sense of joy and purpose. With coaching, I tap into wisdom and compassion, to guide clients toward lives of greater meaning, joy, and authenticity. I integrate my three decades of medical expertise with certifications in Antiaging and Functional Medicine (A4M), training in Addiction Medicine, and Health and Life coaching.
.
My coaching focuses on six key areas of wellness: Emotional Wellness, Physical Health, Spirituality, Creativity, Communication, and Reigniting a Sense of Fun. I use my life experience to help clients overcome burnout, reduce anxiety, address addictive behaviors, and rediscover joy and purpose in their lives.
My Niches: I help gay men who struggle with self-confidence become empowered and help them embrace aging with self-love and acceptance. I also help ambitious professionals facing burnout, work-life challenges, and career transitions regain a sense of purpose, joy, and meaning.
